Take control of a starship in this turn-based search and destroy dogfighting game. Plan out your next move by plotting your course on a multi-level hexagon grid and then watch as all ships play out their turn simultaneously. Outmaneuver your opponents to line up that perfect shot. Controls: Uses mouse and keyboard 1) Click on the colored arrows to select your flight path. The colors represent different altitudes. 2) Click the End Turn button or press spacebar to watch the turn unfold. - Use the WASD Keys to pan the camera. - Scroll the Mouse Wheel Up/Down to adjust the height of the grid. - Click the Fire Missile button to launch a missile. Hot Jupiter takes a new approach to visualizing altitude in a turn-based strategy game. First, it uses the color scale to represent pieces at different heights. Second, game pieces are anchored to the "reference plane", which can be adjusted by the player to see the pieces' relative altitude. Scroll the mouse wheel up and down to change this plane and see what we are talking about.
